Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of clinical nursing pathway health education on the rehabilitation of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis. Methods Literature related to rehabilitation management of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis mainly intervened by clinical nursing pathway health education were collected from retrieving China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, PubMed, Embase, and The Cochrane Library, etc. After literature screening, data extraction, and quality evaluation, the RevMan 5.3 software was employed to perform Meta⁃analysis. Results A total of 12 literature was enrolled in. The results of Meta⁃analysis revealed that the observation group exhibited a higher disease awareness rate, and higher scores of psychological function, social function, physical function, and body function as compared with the control group, and shorter length of hospital stay as compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with routine health education or nursing intervention, implementing clinical nursing pathway health education is helpful to improve disease awareness rate of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, shorten length of hospital stay, ameliorate patients' quality of life, exerting favorable clinical application value.
