Objective To systematically evaluate the intervention effect of massage therapy for cancer⁃related fatigue in cancer patients. Methods Randomized controlled trials investigating the intervention of massage therapy on cancer⁃related fatigue in cancer patients were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Ovid, The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP, Chinese Biomedical Literature Service System, and Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform. After screening the enrolled literature, data extraction, and quality assessment, a Meta⁃analysis was performed by using the RevMan 5.3 software. Results Twelve literature involving 628 patients with cancer⁃related fatigue was enrolled. The results of Meta⁃analysis demonstrated that compared to the control group, cancer patients in the massage group obtained relieved symptom of cancer⁃related fatigue (P<0.05). Conclusion Massage therapy can ameliorate symptom of cancer⁃related fatigue in cancer patients.
